National Bloody Mary Day

Slow Cooker Bloody Mary Chicken w/ Rice

Ingredients:
4 skinless chicken breasts
4 Cups extra spicy bloody mary mix
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped carrot

Directions:
Set the slow cooker to 8 hours on low.

Rinse chicken with cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Remove any fat from the chicken and place in the slow cooker.

Pour the Bloody Mary mix over the chicken breasts and add the chopped vegetables. Cook on low for 8 hours. Serve with rice or hot noodles.

**The broth does end up being a little runny, so with some flour and butter make a roux and add the liquid to the roux whisking it in and it will thicken up the broth

** Lemon Pepper and  Celery Salad with Olive Oil
